Meet Dr. Angie Chiara
You can tell a lot about a person just by looking at their smile, and I believe that a healthy smile is a beautiful thing. I enjoy meeting people, discussing their oral health needs, and coming up with best solutions for each patient. My goal for each patient is to give them the best oral health possible.
I completed my Doctorate of Medical Dentistry at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. While dentistry has been a part of my life for a long time, my decision to become a dentist was a fairly recent one. I thrive on personal interactions, and I couldn’t think of a better way to make a difference in our patients’ lives than by becoming a dentist.
Science and technology are continuously changing how we practice dentistry. I attend additional courses through the Tucson Advanced Cosmetic and Restorative Study Club, Pima Dental Study Club, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics so that I can stay abreast of the latest research and innovations. I'm always looking for more conservative and comfortable treatments for my patients.
My husband, Dr. Daniel Chiara, and I have three grown children who are all out creating lives for themselves. When I’m not at work, I enjoy working in my yard, reading, playing the piano, and spending time with family and friends.
While my children were still at home, I volunteered hundreds of hours at their schools and local school events. Now, Arizona Mission of Mercy is where I donate much of my time and skills. I believe I have a responsibility to give back to the community that helped me raise my family.
